Gentle educational information about breathing, relaxation and body awareness during pregnancy preparation.
What is Aniball?
Aniball is a tool designed to support conscious pelvic floor relaxation in connection with breathing and body awareness.
Who is it for?
For women who want to explore gentle and mindful preparation during pregnancy.
When can I start using Aniball?
Use Aniball only after the completed 36th week of pregnancy.
How often should I exercise?
Around 15 minutes daily is usually sufficient. Stop if you feel pain or discomfort.
I cannot insert Aniball comfortably. Does that mean it is not suitable for me?
Not at all – quite the opposite. Difficulty inserting Aniball can be a sign that it is important to start paying gentle attention to your body and becoming more aware of how your pelvic floor responds to breathing and relaxation. It is completely natural for Aniball to feel difficult or unfamiliar during the first few sessions, especially at the beginning. Training should always be gradual and gentle. Many women find it helpful to relax and focus on calm breathing before inserting the balloon, as breathing naturally helps the body relax and may make insertion feel more comfortable.
Inflate the balloon only until you feel slight tension, never pain. There is no need to increase the balloon size or try to push the balloon out during the first sessions. Simply deflate and gently remove the balloon. It is enough to become familiar with the feeling of gentle pressure from the balloon and how the pelvic floor responds to breathing.
With patience and regular gentle practice, you can gradually become more comfortable over time and learn to relax more naturally with breathing.
What balloon size should I aim for?
There is no “required” size. Do not exceed your comfort level. The balloon should not be inflated beyond 25 cm circumference (approximately 10 pumps).
What lubricant should I use with Aniball?
Use only a water-based lubricant with Aniball. Do not use silicone-based, oil-based, or petroleum-based lubricants, as they may damage the material of the balloon.
How should I clean Aniball?
Clean the balloon before and after each use according to the instructions for use. Store the product in a clean, dry place.
Could Aniball overstretch or weaken the pelvic floor muscles?
No. Aniball is not designed to overstretch the pelvic floor muscles. It is intended to support gentle pelvic floor awareness and preparation for vaginal birth. Always follow the guidance and stay within your comfort level.
